Any new plastic created today, including polyester, can be a plastic waste problem tomorrow. Since 2012, ADIDAS has innovated ways to tackle the problem of plastic waste in how we make our products. By 2024, we’ll be off virgin polyester completely. The algae-based EVA foam we use helps clean at least 30 liters of polluted lake water.
About BILLABONG
Billabong began its long, amazing ride in 1973 on the Gold Coast of Australia. It all started with a single, humble pair of boardshorts and a crocheted bikini crafted on founder Gordon Merchant’s kitchen table. Today, Billabong is a leader in surf-inspired apparel and accessories for men and women with one simple mission: to inspire youth through progressive surf culture.
